Mental Health Treatment for First Responders, Police & Firefighters

MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT FOR POLICE, FIREFIGHTERS & PARAMEDICS

Every day on the job for a police officer, firefighter, paramedic or soldier could be considered traumatic to people outside of the first responder community. Repeated exposure to violence, danger, traumatic events and other daily stresses of a career as a first responder can take a mental and physical toll.

Our Clinical Team Provides:

THERAPY FOR DEPRESSION
THERAPY FOR POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD)
THERAPY FOR ACUTE STRESS DISORDER (ASD)
THERAPY FOR ANXIETY

A key part of our treatment program is ensuring that first responders have the appropriate tools and coping mechanisms to deal with not only mental disorders, but the common stresses that aggravate or lead to these disorders. Once they return to their jobs after treatment, they’ll be able to confront the daily difficulties of their job in a healthy manner.

First responders who undergo mental health treatment – and indeed any treatment at our facility – are treated with the utmost respect, compassion and understanding. We understand how unique each first responder’s situation can be, and feel strongly that a highly customized recovery program that takes into account each person’s specific needs will have the best outcome. At First Responders Recovery, your loved one will be treated alongside other first responders, giving them an opportunity to build relationships and discuss mutual experiences and the challenges of being on the job. These relationships are integral in achieving sobriety and sustainable recovery.
